James, the professional couldn't have been more helpful, welcoming and accommodating. Additionally, a member was kind enough to arrange to play with me and shepherd me around the course - that's above and beyond.
The course was in fabulous condition for the time of year, no temporary greens or winter tees here - just the sheer unadulterated joy of playing on firm fairways, true greens with stunning views at every turn. I came off the course with a huge smile - what a challenge - the first three holes must be one of the hardest starts around particularly the first; who said par 3s are easy and I reckon the steeply downhill 18th (another par 3) could potentially be a bit of a card wrecker.
Go and play there, you won't be disappointed.
